Getting big! Still on the fence about who's a rooster and who's a hen. We have our ideas.

We are taking off for a few days and can't wait to see them when we get back!

The planter box that is more in the sun is doing better then the partially shady one.

First Post!

So here we are! A girl from the midwest and a guy from Southern California moving to a ranch and getting our hands dirty. Well slightly dirty. Anyways, we like to think there is a thing or two to write about out here.

VikingBird Farms is our new ranch in Windsor California. Windsor is a town that in Northern Sonoma County kind of between Healdsburg and Santa Rosa.

Just to clarify,
1 We are renting our ranch, and
2 we consider four planter boxes plus a few plants, seven chickens and yellow lab a farm. We may add more later but for now we are keeping ourselves busy.
